#  Partnering with Family Caregivers of Older Adults  

 



 **Dates**: October 13th, 20th, 27th, November 3rd (Thursdays) 2-3PM Eastern

 Summary: This National Center for Equitable Care for Elders learning collaborative will highlight family caregiving as an essential part of age-friendly healthcare. Participants will utilize techniques like care mapping to visualize and tailor assistance to unique caregiver social needs.

 After participating in this series, participants will be able to:

- Understand the prevalence and impact of caregiving on older adult health and well-being
- Examine current and emerging innovations in supporting family caregivers
- Develop person-centered strategies for building trust and effectively communicating with older patients and caregivers
