Equitable Care for Elders

Welcome to the National Center for Equitable Care for Elders (NCECE)

At NCECE we seek to advance the discussion on older adult needs and emerging issues in our nation's health centers through our training and technical assistance opportunities, publications and resources, e-newsletter, and our social media outreach. Have a question for us? Older adults are the fastest growing group of patients served by health centers, highlighting the rapid aging of the United States. In response, NCECE offered training and technical assistance to health centers on age-friendly healthcare practices. The goals of our Center were to:

  • Advance knowledge and disseminate promising practices to enhance the care of older adults in primary care settings;
  • Increase the availability of services that are tailored for the needs of older patients at health centers; and
  • Support health centers' ability to enhance the quality of community health programs for older adults.
