Clinical Integration Lead

Dr. Russell Phillips is the William Applebaum Professor of Medicine, Professor of Global Health and Social Medicine, and Director of the Center for Primary Care at Harvard Medical School.Dr. Phillips directs the Harvard Medical School Center for Primary Care. The Center was founded in 2010 to improve health through a transformation of primary care practice and education. Previously, he led the Harvard Medical School General Medicine and Primary Care Fellowship Program and was Chief of the Division of General Medicine and Primary Care at Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center. The Center’s mission is to address inequities in care by transforming primary care and by strengthening health systems. Dr. Phillips has had more than 230 peer-reviewed publications with more than 27,500 citations and an h-index of 92.

Dr. Phillips has a strong interest in oral health integration into primary care and is well suited to his role as Clinical Integration Lead on this project given his expertise in leadership, primary care transformation, program evaluation, training programs, evaluation of innovations, systems improvement, patient safety, and quality of care.
