Intimate partner violence (IPV) and elder abuse represent significant public health concerns affecting millions of older adults every year. While there is currently insufficient evidence for universal screening of older adults for abuse, emerging evidence suggests that universal education approaches can support at-risk individuals and connect them with vital resources.
