    Building Competence in Caring for Older Adults

What is Training and Technical Assistance (T/TA)?

NCECE provides grant-funded training and technical assistance (T/TA) to health centers and look-alikes committed to improving health care delivery to the older adult population. Our training and technical assistance focuses on helping organizations assess their readiness for change and training staff to build core competencies and organizational capacities in health care integration and care coordination for older adults. Learn more about the T/TA provided by National Training and Technical Assistance Partners (NTTAPs) on HRSA's NTTAP webpage.

NCECE Goals

The goals of our Center are to:

  • Advance health care providers’ knowledge and disseminate promising practices for providing health care and supportive services to older adults;
  • Increase the amount and accessibility of health care services provided to older adults at health centers; and
  • Improve health centers’ responsiveness to enhance the quality of population-based and outcomes-oriented health care programs for older adults.
